13 O’Clock Blues Band will appear as part of the South Shore Conservatory Guitar Summit Saturday, 4/28/18, 4pm. Events from 1:30 – 6:30 at SSC Duxbury campus. FREE! In keeping with the theme, this show highlights the guitar artistry of Jon Catler in the company of Babe Borden, Timo Shanko and Skip Fischer.

South Shore Conservatory’s Jazz/Rock/Pop Department presents JRP Day: Guitar Summit! Free event showcases legendary guitarists
HINGHAM, MA Issued March XX, 2017… South Shore Conservatory’s (SSC) Jazz/Rock/Pop (JRP) department presents its third annual JRP Day, themed Guitar Summit! on Saturday, April 28, 1:30-6:30 pm at its Duxbury campus at 64 St. George Street. The event is free and open to the public.
JRP Day 2018 showcases two legendary guitarists and their bands, Jon Finn of Jon Finn Group and Jon Catler of 13 O’Clock Blues Band, making for a day of guitar madness and performances that no guitarist or musician should miss!
Finn will be joined by SSC faculty members Juli Morgan on guitar, and Ed Broms on keys, supported by Berklee faculty member Joe Santerre on bass, and Larry Finn on drums. Jon Catler will be joined by SSC voice faculty member Meredith “Babe” Borden, with Timo Shanko on bass, and Skip Fischer on drums.
Other events of the day include a workshop by award-winning blues pianist and SSC faculty member Anthony Geraci, a rhythm event led by SSC faculty member Ed Sorrentino, a chance to check out SSC’s two amazing new Chapman Sticks, and an invitational performance by JRP students and bands reprising some of the best JRP performances of the year.
